Shaw Auctions and Estates was founded by Keegan Shaw in 2024. Keegan attended the University of Iowa, where he received a B.B.A. in Economics and an M.S. in Finance. During his time at the U of I, Keegan was a member of the Varsity Wrestling Team and taught Macroeconomics as a Teacher’s Assistant. Between wrestling practices and Econ classes, Keegan began frequenting a local auction house, visiting as both a customer and a consigner.

During this time, Keegan developed a passion for the auction industry. After graduating from Iowa, Keegan attended Continental Auction School, worked for a large auction company based in Indiana, and eventually began a career in firefighting. Now, he is bringing his auctioneer and appraisal skills to West Michigan, where his wife grew up.
